I am in San Jose June 19-21 (depart June 22) and I would like to book the 2 day Carara Cero trip, or another days trip(s) if you have them scheduled. If you are not available any contacts would be helpful

Thank you

@Ryan- Glad to hear that the blog was of help for your trip and that you ran into one of the great mixed flocks at Quebrada Gonzalez. There aren't too many accessible places in the country where you can see mixed flock action like that.

Belated Thanks Pat for your blog it was a big help in planning our recent trip to CR. We had a great morning birding Quebrada (including an epic canopy flock we followed for over an hour that included nice looks at a vocalizing Sharpbill). We had all the hummers you mentioned above at El Tapir (sans plumeleteer). The coquette's put on quite the show and the brief visit by a male snowcap is one i won't soon forget.

Hi Patrick,

I will be in CR from 5 sep until 10 sep, staying in San Jose, I am most interested in getting some great hummingbird pictures. I would probably need you for at least one, and possibly two day trips on either the 6th 7th or 8th.

@Mark- Glad to hear that! Yes, hope to meet you sometime as well. Poas has been really good as of late. Last Sunday morning, I heard one Slaty Finch again, had brief looks at flyover Barred Parakeets, great views of 4 quetzals, Black Guan, Black-thighed Grosbeak, and heard both Highland Tinamous and Buff-fronted Qauil-Doves. I'm headed back up that way tomorrow and looking forward to it!
